In addition to our in-person and blended courses, we also offer the opportunity to complete Online Safety Training from HSI. Completion of these informative courses result in a Certficate of Online Training. 

Each course is purchased individually at $25 per person.  Once purchased your will receive a course access link in your email.  Please allow at least one busines day for delivery of the course link from HSI.

Opioid Overdose and Bystander Use of Naloxone

Understanding how opioids work and being able to recognize their most common effects on the human body will help you quickly suspect an opioid overdose in an emergency. This course presents an overview of the growing opioid epidemic and teaches students how to recognize, and immediately treat, an overdose with naloxone. Training on three naloxone delivery devices is included in this comprehensive course.

Causes and effects of opioid overdose
The opioid epidemic in the U.S.
How bystander intervention impacts survival rates
How to safely recognize a possible opioid overdose
How to administer naloxone using Narcan Nasal Spray, the EVZIO® auto-injector, and a prefilled syringe and mucosal atomizer device
Precautions following the administration of naloxone

Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention


This lesson informs you of the liabilities and consequences associated with sexual harassment and other types of harassment in the workplace. Additionally, it covers how to respond when harassment occurs, the aspects of a harassment investigation, the dangers of retaliation, and the steps both employees and management must take in order to prevent sexual or other types of harassment.

Slips, Trips, and Falls

This lesson will teach you to identify hazardous workplace conditions and unsafe practices that can lead to slips, trips, and falls and how to prevent incidents through good housekeeping practices, safe behavior, and identification of corrective actions required to eliminate hazardous walking and working surface conditions. You will also learn how to fall properly to avoid serious injury, and how to respond to a fall injury should one occur. This lesson will focus on same-level falls, as opposed to falls from heights.
